In my understanding, energy holds a profound place in Vedic and yogic traditions, where it is often connected to the concept of Prana - the vital life force that animates all living beings. I see it as the energy that flows through everything in the universe, a dynamic force that sustains life and connects us to the world around us.
In Ayurveda, which I consider the sister science of yoga, energy is the foundation of health and well-being. Balancing it through diet, lifestyle, and practices like meditation feels deeply integral to achieving harmony in life.
From a more modern and scientific perspective, I would describe energy similarly to how it is understood in Western science—as the capacity to do work!
